Bottle drop rate

Did they stealth-nerf the bottle drop rate? I feel like on average i'm getting half the amount of bottles i used to.

Why is that important? Does drop rate feel right? Yes or no? If "yes" no more questions its not important when it got reduced. If "no" then start to complain and change of drop rate matters.

the drop rate seems to be somewhere near zero, but it takes about a week of sailing back and forth across the entire map to gather enough data to determine that

I have the same impression (made a lot of trade routes last days and did not find a bottle)

Whenever a feature (different from OS PVP) feels really rewarding, they nerf it. Same old story of this game.

i sorta timed it... 6+ hours sailing to get 1 bottle yesterday. 2 chars 1 approx 6hrs, other 8hrs and that was just sailing doing trade runs.  to be honest I can't tell if its changed or not..

Way back  (i think roughly 7-8 months) i used to average 1 bottle for every 8-12 hours of fishing. Then they changed the rewards and I stopped fishing altogether cus it just wasn't worth it anymore.

Now that fishing was worth it again I averaged around 1 in 12-16 hours, until this week, where I think I now more or less average 1 bottle in 24-48 hours.

I have a buddy that regularly does trips to bermuda and he would normally get a bottle during the trip. This week I think he got 1 bottle in total.

I gotten two bottles in the last week, one was even while going to pick up a wreck.  Does feel like it's drops less, but than I wasn't getting many dropped other wise.   With the current loot I expect them to drop a lot less.  Oh the three wrecks I picked up this week I got some pretty good mods that I needed for upgrades or clan mates needed so I'm not complaining.
