Can someone explain to me why 5th rates and lower have had a mast hp Nerf? 4th rate and above mast HP is also crazy high I might be thinking to simple here but anything over 700-800 max on ocean is to much. Ocean bottom section is 20 hits with 42s. If you repair at good time you can be looking at 30-40 hits. Thats crazy....Today I sniped masts of aggy with winged out ballast. He did a sail rep midway but it was around 40 hits for 2 masts. Bit to much I think :) 

Another issue is cannonades and small ships like suprises. They are mast eaters now. Ok suprise with 32s is alot of gun for ship of that size. More testing is needed there though. I have not checked them out to much. 

 

Its a step in the right direction but basically small ships are to a bit to weak and big ships are way to strong. 

Top and mid are also not bad atm but imo the Trinco and Endymion should be taken as an example in this patch except their thickness should have been kept same as last week. Very very well balanced masts atm but tiny bit to much hp! Maybe 450 ish instead of 500. I also love that endy has more top section hp considering she looses more sail.
