RedNeckMilkMan Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Taking a look at the town management screen for WO over the past week and I noticed something weird. La Navasse upkeep is 3 times the amount of the rest of our ports when it should be 220,000. Just wondering what would cause this or if it is just a display bug.
Christendom Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Also costs more if you make it a trading outpost and/or labor hours decrease

Tax collection is a complicated business in 18-19th century Working as intended. taxes go up - your administration goes up. you still make A LOT MORE. 2
RedNeckMilkMan Posted February 8, 2018 Author Posted February 8, 2018 (edited) At what point does your cost increase? As you can see Ays made 485k and had no increase As of those screenshots for every 1 dollar spent on upkeep we earn 4 dollars at La Navasse and 5 dollars at Ays. There seems to be diminishing returns. Would be interesting to see what Cartagena and the copper ingot ports look like. Edited February 8, 2018 by RedNeckMilkMan
Guest Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 If I remember correctly, when the profit goes above 5 x the upkeep, the upkeep starts to increase. My clan owned Cartagena for a long time after the map reset. The upkeep cost could get as high as 1/3 the profit (again, if I'm remembering correctly).
