Start Battle Choose formation

When entering battle with a group, you should have the option to choose starting formation. (think total war series)

Well, what if all players in group don’t agree the formation’s type? 1 hour to decide which formations should be the best, some maybe goes out the group, some other enter, the enemy wait... Basically should be ok, but...

That problem would be the same in the OP post - who is to decide the formation? But in general this game is very much about teamwork so if there's disagreement about the formation they either solve it quickly or sinks quickly. The game is rather unforgiving..

Huh? What does this have to do with it? Being in a certain position in OW has no bearing on where you enter the initial battle formation.

Since you are already in the same group/battle group, this shouldn't be an issue.

Arh so you mean when you're entering missions.. Well in missions there's plenty of time to form a formation, unless it's hostility missions..

Yes, missions (didn't realize I didn't specify that). There isn't necessarily enough time, as evidenced by several fleet missions I participated in this weekend. And also, as you said, hostility missions and Epic Events.
