Fredricksburg: 43k inflicted, 7k lost

Using all the information I have mined from the forums on combining units and optimizing artillery, this is my result at Fredricksburg. 2 of my artillery brigades dealt upwards of 4k damage each.

No cheese tactics, etc. Kinda impressed with myself, being it's my 2nd ever campaign, but I am worried that maybe I broke the Union?

The Stone River battle screen shows that I outnumber the Federals by 2,000 men. I hope they can recover to keep me engaged in the later stages of the war.

Crushing. Maybe it's time to upgrade your difficulty level?

I could go legendary, but the penalty to my own forces seems silly. Would rather just give the AI a buff without having to use 1842s.

I am playing on MG, which difficulty are you on? Also MG?

1v1 odds at Fredericksburg ? That clearly means you've destroyed the Union before that. It's definitly time you try Legendary sir

I outnumber them by 15k at Stone River. :/ Going to try and finish up the campaign then I will give legendary a run, but as the Union.

That's a nice victory. But things do look differently on Legendary, as you're always outnumbered by a huge margin. 2 to 1 odds are something pretty normal to the point where you gotta have some good charge-breakers in each core running about wheezing from exhaustion.

That's Fredricksburg from my 3rd campaign as CSA. At Antietam the odds were even more stacked for the union as they fielded 116k infantry alone vs 43k of mine. I actually had a higher losses there than at Fredricksburg too.
