PIerrick de Badas Posted December 22, 2017 Posted December 22, 2017 At the moment : - Strongest nation receive a bonus named victory mark which allow them to build alpha fleet for port battle renforcing them against the others nations Problem - more you're strong more you're strong. Others nations are afraid to lost their own alpha fleet and will just use it in pvp - the first place in rvr concern 2 nations max. There is no way for all the nations to compete in this goal as it need a really large player base and the best ships ig - rvr which was pretty dead will slow again specially for the first nation that noone will attack due of this advantage Proposals: - change victory mark for winning nation against gold. It will make their ports cost not a problem. As they get many ports what make them win, they pay large taxes. It's a bit à bonus but it's not breaking the games mechanics - Introduce "renforcement mark". This marks are send from Europe to the colony for the nation that need them. The two weakest nation receive them every 2 weeks. It will gives an advantage this this nation making people wanted to join them and renforce them. When this nation will be strong enough, they will grow again and a new nation will take the weakest place giving it an advantage. More, they can choose to focus on trade and to be the dealers of ships for others nations they are ally with promoting alliance against the strongest nation Conclusions This solution is elegant to promote a fair balance of playerbase in the game promoting the weakest nation. The game actually is like suiciding to make everyone leave to focus on legends but we don't want the game to collapse. The more you win more you win has to be address and instead of focus on winner, Devs should look how to renforce the weakest.
