Anolytic Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 This bug seems to be a consequence of the new sailing physics. I have not disregarded that it could be an intentional change, but it appears to not work exactly as it should, or logical, in any case. Basically what happened was that I tried to push another player's Bellona off an AI 3rd rate that was boarding him. I tried to crash in between them and separate them, however on impact it was like my ship hit a brick wall and lost all speed. Better than describing it, I can show a video of what happened:
Cabral Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 Both ships are tied with graples and is alot of weight to push.

I did think of the same as a logical explanation and reason for intentional implementation, but that still does not sit with the brick wall deceleration or the erratic speedometer. Even if they intended to make boarded ships harder to push now for that reason, it doesn't work correctly as shown in the video. At least that's my take on it.
