Good changes.  Mixing up the advantages and disadvantages of ships was needed.  Wasa's are so boring.  Now get rid of the Wasa for Marks stuff.  Best ships should be crafted.

@admin are ship hp and armor thickness get balanced too so there maybe get a reason to use ships that never get used now in pb and open world?

Who cares dude, a 1st rate shouldnt turn faster than a hunting frigate through the wind (if thats really the case).

disregard the haters devs, you've seriously been killing it the past few patches. Besides the short Wasa fiasco, the game has only improved. Keep it up you glorious bastards

Ofcourse they get outturned. 5th rates still work with the old system while lineships work with the new one.

Once 5th rates and below use the same its like before but different

not sure if that will happen. Admin mentioned that on smaller ships the influrence of the rudder was more important than sails.

The question is do we have realistic rudders?

Was always a airplane man, but... wings are sails :D and rudders are rudders.

Thanks for making the bucentaure so useless compared to other downwindsailers like locean or santi. Constant speed in battle 45° upwind is 2kn, locean is twice as fast.

The turnrates are too fast to balance the ships right would be my guess overall.
