I really love the changes that were made with the Agamemnon, the turning is gr8, but its bricked in OW.

Just look at the upwind OW speed, i'm faster in battle at those angles. Can we please reverse these changes untill they are working as intended?

Generally speaking it is screwed now. The ship as it is now is not to recommend in OW or God beware in battle.

In battle its working perfect, turns like a pirate frigate. The problem is OW, when going to mission thats slightly upwind I can grow a beard, shave it and then grow it again before I get to it. Even if you were to take the Aggy for a spin in OW pvp you could only fight battles that are downwind of you or prearranged, because there is no way you can get to a battle that is upwind before it closes.

:D:D:lol:

But wasn`t this the case before the changes were applied... For me personally i have a feeling it is worse now than before.....Currently it feels like a rock, when turning through the wind in battle.

Weird.

You gotta use ur yards right. You will lose ALL your speed, even reverse, but you turn like any smaller sized frigate.

I am saying i was able to turn through the wind with Live oak Agamemnon without problems, or losing "much" speed..Could enter with about 45 degrees upwind 8,0 Kn, and get through wind out with 3,7-4,0...Now i almost get stuck, or get out with 2,5-3,0 Kn......That is my current problem :)

So i do not know for sure what is happening .

You have to turn much further than usual, try making the two rear masts allign with the wind while pushing with the foremast, works for me. You can even depower.

Dear Sir :) Despite your doubts, i can assure you that manual sailing is not the issue here ;)

Idk what you are doing then, I think it turns just fine.

Exactly that is my problem . I do not know why , but i feel it is worse than before.

I was playing with the EggsnBacon for the first time yesterday and it was super interesting! She pulls off some awesome maneuvers on anything better than a beam reach. Definitely faster than I expected and I have a huge amount of control over my listing. She's miserable close hauled. The OW speed is hello kittyed, though... anything closer than 4-5 ticks from a headwind puts her at 2 knots which is brutal compared to other ships.

Haven't sailed this ship much personally.  But with the redeemables, I started putting it in as a fleet ship.  And man, the OW sailing became a joke.  2 knots going upwind?  Sweet.  As someone else above said I can grow a beard, and I have a baby face.  Fights pretty good though once you get there.  :)
