Liq Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Due to the game being on sale by -60%, we've been seeing a lot of new players in the chat lately. Obviously as there is no tutorial, most of them don't have a clue what to do. I think it's important to help them as much as possible, to keep as many of those new players in the game as possible. I've been working on a very basic guide of some of the most frequently asked questions - useful for copy-pasting answers so you don't have to type them manually every time. Feel free to add stuff! And try to help as many players as possible for a bigger playerbase https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KeRhivZZZBFoCmB_kScCxpVN4SldftB4h-Xm1ylJMAg/edit 17
IndianaGeoff Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Good start. YouTube links might help too.
Jarlath Morrow Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 If we want to include some (very slightly) more advanced concepts, I suggest we provide a link to the "Boarding Guide" written by the devs. It is helpful to learn how to win boardings, but is also great for picturing what the crews are actually doing in the boarding actions. For example, why is it bad to defend against Musket Volley? Once you can picture the actions, it becomes a lot more obvious (and fun).
Captain Jean-Luc Picard Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 (edited) I've added an other links section, for more advanced stuff, and a couple words on why choosing the mercury/snow. Might want to KISS for now Edited October 29, 2017 by Captain Jean-Luc Picard
Landsman Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Nice job, thank you. Put that up on Steam too, if you haven't already...
