Count Maurice Benyovszky Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 (edited) Hello Long time no see... I wanted to visit Naval Action after some time off but the game won't even start. Error log attached. What the error log says: "Write to location 80004484 caused an access violation." Wonder if it's on the Steam side or Unity engine? EDIT: Still crashing on startup. error.log Edited October 28, 2017 by Count Maurice Benyovszky
George Washington Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 (edited) uninstall and reinstall everything fresh including steam. Edited October 28, 2017 by George Washington
Count Maurice Benyovszky Posted October 28, 2017 Author Posted October 28, 2017 Done that already, didn't work
George Washington Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Windows updated? All c++ packages downloaded?
Count Maurice Benyovszky Posted October 29, 2017 Author Posted October 29, 2017 (edited) Yeah, everything updated and I'm using MSI Afterburner. Maybe I'm missing some redistributables specifically for Unity 5.0? I had zero problems on previous engine. Edited October 29, 2017 by Count Maurice Benyovszky
Count Maurice Benyovszky Posted October 29, 2017 Author Posted October 29, 2017 Well I'll be damned... Turned off MSI Afterburner -> Instant fix, the game is working. 1
seanjo Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Generally, when hundreds of people can get on a game no problem...it's a problem at your end.
