For the upcoming 3vs3 tournament, it's still unclear whether or not Repairs should be limited - They can sometimes unnecessarily extend battle length, but sometimes also create new interesting situations.
Please only vote if you are planning to participate in the tournament, and let me know your thoughts below. Thanks!

No.

Managing repairs contributes to the skill ceiling and has impact on module choice. Taking them away would remove one of the core mechanics of NA. We should better discuss about what happens on a draw? If kills are equal, higher BR kills should count as win. If no kills at all or same BR sunk... uhm... maybe a second no-repair battle where only the surviving ships fight?

EDIT:

Additionaly, i think a tournament should represent how the best players handle the current battle mechanics. If you limit repairs, youre altering the way battles are actually fought in NA, where every player decides on how many repairs to take himself.

If you draw in the group stage (still ships alive on both sides after 60 minutes and no difference of a factor of at least 1.5), each team will get 1 point.

In the knockout phase, you cannot draw - If there are still ships alive on both sides after 60 minutes, the side with more BR takes the win - If the BR alive after 60 min is equivalent, "Golden Goal" rules apply, as in first team to get a kill in Overtime gets the win
(This is how I think it would work best)

No rum, 1 hull, 2 sail

I'm not sure i'd agree to that. What justifies only 1 hull rep but 2 sail reps?

Personally i'd suggest the following:
1 Repair per player, per battle. That is, you can choose to "repair" your crew, hull or sails, once.
So 1 shared repair.

I voted for 1/1/1 repairs for what I think would make for an interesting fight, but on the other hand perhaps sticking to the current in-game scenario of multi-repairs would give some credibility as to whether they're a good or bad thing to have in a publicly visible setting.

Edit - Actually, I'll change my vote to unlimited repairs, the game should be what it is.

I want people to go in to kill each other, not to kite and shoot chains or masts for 30 mins. More sail repairs means that chain is less effective.

I voted no aswell but I feel like we'll have to accept the majority's decision - I'll make sure everyone participating voted here in some time, and ONLY count those votes (good thing we can see who voted).

in a 3v3 with balanced skill every single match will end in a draw if there will be unlimited repairs in 60 mins. do we really want to chase ppl down and see them repairing for ever?

personally i wont partecipate if there will be no limit in repairs.

(and pls dont say BS when u talk about missclicks: just bring the perfect number of hull sail and rum to repair only once each and u will not have double repairs to missclicks)
