Can't download new patch

Hi I need some help. Normally steam downloads the updates automatically but today it's not doing anything. Update is queued ( the only game preparing to d/l) I've tried all the suggestions from the error link but nothing. Error reads;

an error occurred while updating naval action ( content still encrypted) 

if I uninstall naval action and reinstall will that mean I loose my yacht. 

Anyone have this problem before. New to me

This may indicate a hard disk failure of some sort.

Maybe check S.M.A.R.T. statistics as well.

Uninstall and reinstall fixed it for me thanks.

No, you do not lose anything with game reinstall. You only lose assets (that are not in redeemables) if you delete a character

Thanks for your replies. All working again. Was a simple uninstall and reinstall naval action that worked.
