So we agree then that, for now, we only need to give everyone rewards for hard working and/or skill?

You mean as a no fix for pirate nation just fighting rewards to everyone in general? Yeah im ok with that. Yes its not what I want and is not what everybody else want, but also what everyone wants is also all over the show. How to please people who like Nick just wants to sail 6th rates and how to please other pirates who wants to sail bigger ships? My believe is that in a mmo game it should be a player choice. Else we a). Will lose players; b). New players wont stick if they dont like that. Giving choices is a good thing. If one wants to sail only 6th rates he can. If another wants to sail 1st rates he also can. However on a larger scale pirate Faction should not have access to RVR, which means pirates needs to have other means to provide them fighting content, ships, resources etc. Raid is one of them. Privateering is another. Both are not denying pirates their gameplay of choice, but at the same time assist other nations. If for any reason we cant have that I would rather have pirates remain as fictional nation. I dont agree to be down right stripped of all ships and forced to sail something I dont like. My main ship rate is 5th. I sail 5th rates 80% of my gaming time and almost 100% when I'm solo. But that does not mean I dont like to experience 6th, 4th and 1st rate port battles when they are good battle. It doesnt mean I dont like to duel in other ships. Or OW PvP in other ships as part of a fleet. Why deny players a gameplay when you can simply restrict results of the gameplay? 3

I think I shall recall what I said before about ship sizes for pirates, in place of a more liberal choice for pirate play. I do still maintain that freedom of choice is ultimately great for this game (which is quite frankly my main reason to weigh in against a server merge, off-topic though it be here). 2
Skully Posted August 31, 2017 Author Posted August 31, 2017 @koltes, @Jean Ribault and everyone else, I got some excellent news. Lets continue making small steps and maybe we'll end with a grand game. Capn Rocko Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 I just wish the devs would give us Kidds Island as a base for operations. It is hidden from the map and would give starting pirates a place to grind PvE instead of (dangerous) Mortimer Town. Kidds has good resources in the current version of the game, meaning we can craft cannons and ships there. And Kidds is far enough away from the rest of civilization that it would force pirates to use free towns (which is the goal right?). Personally, I never use anything higher than a 5th rate, so I wouldn't mind losing crafting abilities for ships higher than 5th rates. But if we steal them from a player, I think we still should be able to use them. Just some thoughts

I'm a strong believer that pirates should not be "PvEing". My pirate heart has just become two sizes too small.
