I see more in them than I do Pirates....and they bitch about us using SOL's. The second thing is it's permited ships they should cost more to upgrade than other ships. It should not be the same as a normal ship any one can get in game. Though I do think they can fix the grind by added xp for damage back into game. Keep gold and CM tied to Assist and Kills, but bring back XP for damage done. The first 2-3 levels are suppose to be the norm so the xp should be more easy to level in those levels, but the last two should take a bit to grind out. You think that ship is bad you should see the SOL's. It's insane the number of xp you need to open slots on SOL's.

The connie, which is pretty center of the ship scale is 35,000xp to unlock 4th slot, which is about 60 missions at 600xp per (a generous number) which is at 15 minutes per mission (VERY generous) is 15 hours of in game time just for the 4th slot. If the devs want to promote more PVP they should cut all ship knowledge grind by half. Its very off-putting as a PVPer to have to spend a days worth of time grinding AI in order to get the full capability out of my ship. It feels forced and cumbersome from a gameplay perspective, and sucks the fun out of trying out new ships.
Guest Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 At least with a larger ship you can make some good money and combat marks by doing it,I found the greatest annoyance to be getting a pittance of those while trying to get ship knowledge on undersized ships.
