at this moment we have the option to give money to a player by making a trade in the harbor were the both of you are.

this stays the same 

but I also want to introduce a system where I can give money to a player if he is not in the harbor, but just 2 hours at sea, and not coming to the port where you are

perhaps you want to give some money back what you borrowed >  select player in the chat or in the clan overview > right mouse on the player and the popup appears where you can select:[ Give money]

Well actually banking was already a well developed form of procuring and transfering gold. All one had to was to give a note to a person (or send it by courier) and then the person could collect the amount listed.

There are a few useful reasons for something like this to exist, someone is off doing missions and runs out of supplies and cash, so a clan mate is willing to forward some coin to him. Could also see players with Alts using this to move money around from one nation to another if there is not restriction in place that restricts trades to only within the same faction.

well coding can make it nation restricted if necessary

I think it's not a bad idea at all. Many players tried to help newbs with a ship or money but couldn't do it because they were in different ports. There were even time when not so new players were looking for a loan. So, why not have a system to move money around, at least on the PvE server?

As far as the PvP sever is concerned, we should be wary of potential exploits...as usual!

Have @JobaSet make you a nice 3rd party program to do that instead of the devs. 

Im sure that will be easy compared to most of the other ones.

Oh yes I like it. It would make alts much more easier to use. That would really improve my gameplay with 12 alts. Less clicks while shifting money. I appreciate the suggestion.

HAHA this is fairly easy to do.  But why stop at money, Marks, upgrades any thing you don't have sail with. But what ever I charge for this so called bank/mail would not be enough. The problem is you would need 1 alt for every 7 ports in game. To move around easy.  That to much real money. so not worth it.
