My suggestion for the raids are rather simple to begin with. Instead of having AI's (they're dumb as lampposts anyway) we could reintroduce the flagsystem for raids and basically make a timer - pull a flag and the flag can only be placed 2 hours later and the winning side in the ensuing PB gets victory marks for the win (or something else - I don't really care).

One reason why I wish the flagsystem reintroduced is basically to get more contested PBs, preferably for all sorts of players - not just the usual suspects, that way all can have access to the PB experience and if we limit the flags to 3 for the nation pr. day everyone can get a chance to pull it.

They need to fix RVR before anyone will be willing to participate in RVR. Returning the flag system for a raiding system wont give you more PBs, just more raiding, which is a good idea but they need to fix the existing mechanics around PB before adding more to them.

That why I suggested doing something like 12 vs 12 (15 vs 15 would work but groups are 12 right now) and doing them like the old flag system with tweeks.   Make it one control circle Tower you have to capture and than if you win it puts 20-25% agro on that region.  SO you can do 4 raids to flip a Region instead of grinding up AI ships.  If they want to show and stop you they have the 2 hour window to stop the fleet and flag carrier from being dropped at that port.  You can bring more ships than the 12 for the raid, but I would say keep them small and simple.  Like only one captured tower/circles not three.   So it's more about the battle to control that one circle and winner is either by control points or BR points from kills.

 Ah see that is a different kind of Raid from what I was thinking... I want irate Raids and no more Pirate Port control... We do a raid and win we get to fill the cargo ships we brought with our fleet(1-3 depending on what your willing to lose in an intercept)... with any amount of resources that is currently in that town up to the max stored there.. OR any amount of what it produces..   Then for until 3 downtime have passed that port Produces NOTHING.. as it is recovering.. But at the same time it will be buying LOTS of stuff for traders to deliver as it recovers...

For pirates I would like that type of raid, but pirates are not going to get any mechanic changes for some time.  What we been told it prob won't even be until after release that they might change pirates, but for hell won't be any time soon so folks need to live with the fact that Pirates are just another nation.

  Yeah why would they fix the most broken Faction in the game that has been broken since pre prelease began when they can screw up other stuff that actually worked pretty good instead..:)
