Just a easy way and create a "right click -> convert to battle group" button so u dont have to reinvite everyone if you reach 12 group members and want to extend it

Or just form a battle group from the beginning. Battle group is better then group as to engage a battle group the attacker has to have above a certain limit of BP. Normal group the attacker only has to have enough BP for the single target they are attacking.

so whats the point of the regular group anymore?

Pretty much none. I see no advantage for Group over Battle Group at this point.
