Please add a time calculation (maybe exactly maybe roughly calculated by average ship speed) to protractor tool. I normally use burning sails map for this but I don't like always switching windows when I'm in a game because this destroys the immersion.

Time calculation would be a very neat feature because it is helpful to know when a ship might arrive.

I am in favor of forcing you to sail but TP out of freetowns as a compromise to stop endless ganking.

To be honest, because of we had no tp to or away from freeport there was no revenge ganking around them. The places where ganks and revenge ganks happen are at ports where tping  is still possible.

So in my opinion we shouldn't have tps at all.

Boost still depends on wind apparently, can be as low as 38 give or take.

On a map this huge with this small player base not much would happen without tp's, i bet most players would leave the game if the tp was removed

Honestly I havent had a lot of issues finding fights.  Just base yourself out of an area that has heavy traffic.

Those are pretty good fighting spots.   The trick is you dont sit outside of a port, you sit just out of visual range of the port, but close enough to see ships once they get a few miles away from the port.

Also with the small player base having no tp would mean almost 0 pvp..if im in belize and i see kpr is being ganked, i can tp there grab my ship and try to help otherd out...it is fine the way it is right now..tp away from fp is a good idea, from and to not so as this would make ganking way more easy..

Choose a place to base yourself.  Base around Belize or around KPR. Hopefully if the pop numbers get up, probably after Legends enters EA, they will get rid of tps.

Those that don't mind the sail will come to you.  If you don't like sailing but want PVP, then stay near the front lines. Fight the Pirates by KPR or the Dutch (oh my gosh, Brits & Dutch fighting?) down south.  Belize is in the middle of GB area and so may not see much action with the exception of privateers that don't mind the sail, such as myself.

If you choose to stagnate in one area that is on you.  A smart hunter will rotate his hunting grounds as to not "where out" his welcome.   

I have seen several French guys and even "Free Nation" Spanish on Global who have moved all over the map, finally heading back to their capital after a few weeks.  

I personally bounced between 3 regions over the span of week.  But lately I havent done anything.. may go back to hunting again.  Dont know.
