No-one cares because not everyone wants to have a massive port battle. The problem is that BR for ports is too high.

If you don't want big battles what are you doing playing Region v Region?

I feel certain that reverse and his friends would rather be in their own nation, answerable to nobody and not having to deal with others following them. The same could probably  be said for the other powerbrokers of the larger clans.

One way to fix this would be civil wars, or clan based RvR.

The problem is mechanics, there is no disadvantage to being a zerg, only benefits.

It's led to this stale RvR situation we have now. I pray it is addressed and soon.

There is certainly enough rewards and costs to allow that mechanic to be quickly implemented.

Same shit. I wouldn't call what we have as different realms.

Its more about the pre existing nature of the term. No need to rename the wheel here.

Point still stands. People doing RvR (Realm v Realm) or NvN (Nation v Nation) content should not expect anything but the largest battles, by nature of what it is.

It was ever proposed to link the port battle max BR to the port taxes. Cartagena would have a max battle rating, Ays for example would have a lower BR. Some ports in the gulf would be low rated, giving content for small nations.

But this means first to reset a viable trading gameplay. Otherwise too many port will be defended by a couple of Lynx... ;):)

Oh, and ofc that the new port bonus' gives the current incumbents of power an unchallenged powerbase since no new player, clan or defeated nation can rise against them.

It's not like no other nation has port bonuses. Russia is also leading this statistic, but other nations are close behind.

Civil Wars would be awesome if it autoloaded only in the top two largest nations. Like say once a nation reaches 30% of the total population then a pop-up would initiate Civil War and you would have to choose a side of the civil war. And then those "mini-factions" would have green on green battles until that nation is no longer a top 2 populated nation.

Pre Release i was in russian Clan BETEP since Juni 2018. In this time i experineced this:

- Brits (rediii) took BETEP some vital NE Yucatan ports

- French (NN) took our rare wood ports in north gulf of Mexico

- Sweds took Santo Domingo ports from BF

- Brits and French took many spanish ports

- From then you never saw any spanish or BETEP do RVR

- Some of the Spanish and BETEP stopped playing, BETEP died completely.

- Most reorganized and gone to other clans (e.g. spanish 7UP--> REDS, BETEP founded SHOCK)

Yet nobody from us started crying in forums about being zerged by sweds and brits and french. We learned from our mistakes, reorganized and rebuilded russia. Pre wipe we had cartagena and maracaibo area.

And that is all because in REDS and in russia nobody is crying but keeping their fighting spirit and morale high, move on, analyze, learn, fight and more and more people join russia. NN joined because of it and many players, who are new in REDS.

Only this is the reason for russia having a lot of skilled players now and this is the way to go for other nations too. So stop crying in forum pls.

Edit: corrected some bullshit about sweds took Santo from BF with ease

New and returning players don't know that history or care. All they see is the spam of YouTube videos and Twitch streams by Russian players.

It will be good to see all these skilled players on tournament. But tournament is absent in game :(

Ask developers to enable this mode in this topic.

In a defence??

No OFFENCE, that's my point, ANY offensive war against Russia is just not feasible given your sheer numbers

It's a simple matter of numbers. We can barely put a full 25 person port battle fleet together, you on the other hand can have a full 25 person fleet PLUS 50 players to screen outside. If our fleet can not even get close enough to the port to enter the battle without being screened out, there is no point us even flipping the port, hence RvR being dead. Hell we can't even flip a nation of similar size to ourselves because you guys show up to that. You may be happy with this situation but many are not and the GAME will suffer as a result
