[HRE] Lanfire Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 (edited) We Hunt 3 Pirate Agas (read Point 2), after we have 1 capped (FiLoot the Bearded), the other 2 start shoot themself (green on green). The first take fire and slow down his speed, the second drive then near to himn and try to get fire to. InGame report (F-11) has send to. So, this is clearly forbiden and against the Rules: And now Point 2: Earl of Halifax is a possible alt char from Pirates. He get in front of the 3 Pirates Agas and let himself taggeg in his Basic Cutter. After the Battle starts, he leave the Battle. This case was happen in Port Battle Activity. Liq Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 The general consensus when this was discussed is that "lighting" a fireship as you've described here is ok, so long as the fireship Captain is ok with it. 3

Sir Texas Sir Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Devs said as long as the person be fired upon doesn't mind or reports it than it's ok. We had some one try this on us when we caught there group of trincs with an aggy. We got the aggy, but they where trying to catch it on fire and sink it before we swarmed it. 1
JollyRoger1516 Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Scuttling even with help (aka a complaint isn't filed by the person fired upon) is allowed!!! 1
Obliterati Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Green on green is allowed if both captains agree. Period. Technically lighting each other on fire to prevent capture is called scuttling the ship. This is a legitimate tactic.
Powderhorn Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Green on green is a question of consent. If the Captain being fired upon consents, this is a non-issue. 2
