AngryPanCake Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 I came across this bug and thought it was kinda funny. I took a combat mission and once I got there the location was over land. It still allowed me to enter and after it was over, my cutter ended up at the beach. The interesting thing was that I thought I was stuck and did not know how to get back to port, I remembered the Tow To Port option I read about being implemented for such issues, but in fact, my cutter sailed through the land and into the water. 1

I experienced the same thing outside of Charleston in th first day or two after the patch. I came out of the battle to find myself buried up to the gunnels in sand. I simply raised sails and sailed right of the beach into the water.
surfimp Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 This is one of my favorite things about the current build, except when an NPC Surprise or something suddenly appears out of the side of a cliff, bearing down on me. I have a moment of panic and then I laugh. It's funny as hell to see ships sailing through the land.
AngryPanCake Posted June 23, 2017 Author Posted June 23, 2017 I wonder what the deal is with this patch? Before it, I had never seen any ships going through the land, now there are so many one would be F11'ing all the time.
