When will ship paints be back? It's the only means of visually customizing your ship, can we please have it back? Preferably for PvP marks and a serious amount of gold to slow down inflation?

Yah I was looking around last night and it's starting to get that a lot of the ships are looking very much exactly the same.  Would be nice if we could start getting these once again in drops or something.   Even word of what they plan to do with them.

...just dont make customization to hardcore... whats the point... ppl love customize and personilize their stuff so dont make it exlusive for HC playerbase...simply would be great to see some variety of same boats all around

Paints could be paired with ship knowledge, as a bonus/incentive, so at slot X you get your X paint, etc.

And please oh please, do work on paints for all the 7th and 6th rates

This is a great idea! Much more realistic than finding ship paint in a wreck!

A small ingame shop could be the key. Color per ship typ and sail 1-2€ and redeemable. Devs earn money for their work and we are all happy.

Players and clans can paint sails and ships as they want.

Many players and also I would buy this for a few ships.

No p2w and no rng.

I've said this before, I would be perfectly happy paying for more customization options and I think a lot of other players are as well.  And it doesn't just have to be paints.  You could add different flags, sails and streamers.  It's a way to monetize from those who have already bought the game.

Well same as rediii said at least give us national paints, but im not so sure completly about custom paint becouse we will get black ships with black sails too red ships

(1) I totally think it's a good idea, people will spend a lot of money in small increments to customize their ships, which will result in a steady stream of money for the development team's extra work. I do think though, there should be a couple free paints that can be unlocked with XP and/or craft XP for the general population.

Either way it is a real piss taker.... the game is beautiful but having all ships of the same type look the same is really taking away from it and in terms of content ( especially ship customization visually ) the game is sorely lacking... taking content out of the game instead of adding new is NOT the way to go... I really hope it's because of the engine limitations....
