Fish purchase contracts

Could we make it so that fish buy contracts are not a thing. Everyone has to get rid of their fish stocks when they reach port, why allow some clowns to peg the price at 2 gold.

It is an unusual commodity treat it in a non exploitable way please.

It's at 2 cause the port is over stocked and is at 1.  JUst stop saleing it there and take it some where else. Or turn it into food product.

The ports are now already overstocked at 5k. Considering the amount we all have to sail around now and the fact that the port doesn't use it anymore/not enough and players don't buy it this is a problem. The entire coastline around Cartagena already doesn't buy it anymore for more then 1 gold. To sell fish for gold I'd already have to throw in a 30mins trip minimum just to get rid of it and would probably make more on the way. Bear in mind that this is coming from the low pop Global server. It must be worse on EU. This needs adjusting.

The problem is what folks can and can't buy.  Many are broke, very broke and they sale every thing. I haven't sold one bit of fish meat cause it's good for making provisions for our clan so I keep them.   I bet it's even worse on EU. We where just talking about this in clan the other night about how much rare to find anything in any of the shops on that server with the higher pop.  Some times bigger pop isn't better.

Either way if the low pop starts having trouble the big pop must ahve them so this needs another workover.

No, like I said there is a contract by a griefer at the port that caps the sale price. You can see this right in the interface. I know that some ports just buy low. But some pay a good price until a griefer puts a contract on it for garbage price. Eats up all the fish for a few days, then cancels the contract and sells all his 2000 fish he paid 2 gold each for to the port for 25 gold. Griefing due to the nature of fish meat in the game. Then he turns on the contract again
