I placed a contract in KPR for 908,000 for textile machines. I decided that I did not want to wait the 15 days to collect 10 machines and that I could do more good with the money back in my pocket. I went to cancel the contract and I hit the delete contract button rather than the cancel contract button. I hit cancel in that screen and it deleted the contract and all that money.

Now I know that I do not have to stress the importance of money right now since the patch, but it would be greatly helpful if I could get it back. I submitted a bug report a few days ago when the issue occurred. Unfortunately I do not have the bug report number. Let me know if anything can be done to fix this!

Thanks!

It is rather a bad discription and a lack of documentation then a bug. You allways had to caim the contract to get the money back, while been in the same port. The delete button was for deleteing the contract from another port and lose all the goods and money (for when you realy need the contract slot but can't tp there).

Sad to say but balticsailor is right, you just deleted instead od claiming your contract.

I think @twins1215 is right,

He hit delete - clearly he made a mistake. But then there is a confirm screen where he says he hit cancel. But it still deleted the contract. I'm not in game so I cannot check this is how it works. If it does it is certainly a bug.

It has happened again, but I did not collect/claim/delete any of the contracts.

I placed two contracts, one in KPR for 140,000 for textile machines and one in Willemstad for 525,000 for gold coast ivory. I placed both contracts last night before I logged off to wait for the server maintenance/restart. I got back on this morning to see that both contracts were no longer there, yet a contract to sell one of my traders brigs was.

I do not know what is going on. I cannot continue to keep having to make up the loss of these amounts of money. Granted, the first contract for 903,000 that is listed above very well could have been human error, but t now another 665,000 of mine is missing....
