Aventador Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 In light of @admin's latest patch notes: http://forum.game-labs.net/index.php?/topic/20619-patch-101-changes-to-conquest/ I would like to propose an idea for a national government to be the base for the future political system. Your government will suggest regions to take and depending on which regions you take it will change relations. So players wouldn't be removed fully from the process but it would be much harder to control. There could also be random events that occur that we have no control over that would change relations. Thoughts? 1
Hethwill, the Red Duke Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 You mean a semi-game-master system like ED has ? Where the devs input the political content ?

Kinda but players would have a bit more control on the conquest part. Like an attack on a port would be an act of war that lasts 2 weeks. But there could be random acts like royal marriages that create an alliance for 2 weeks
Ned Low Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 (edited) I like it. 1.Government proposes regions 2.Players vote - yes/no if yes % is larger it goes through. 3. Nation makes the attack. Edited June 2, 2017 by Ned Low
Christendom Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Are you talking real life or in game. Both seem to be beyond our control.... 1

Hethwill, the Red Duke Posted June 2, 2017 Posted June 2, 2017 Was a jest of course. I like ED system a lot given it involves a lot of lore making on the devs side and adds a lot of content, like the new systems for groups to carve their own "factions". In NA yeah can be done in a similar fashion down the line. 1

Thoughts? This Idea was pushed myself a while back. A Nation Head like a head clan of clans. The idea was more to do with metering out punishment from ALT griefing. Now I'd prefer the other way of "Less is More". PC, Clan ownership of the individual region and resources that lie within. Dilute the NPC overlay. However am sure not all players would like a such a hands off world... or sometimes called a Sandbox... I do like the idea though
