Major Grigg Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 The United States of America is the greatest country in the world. This is true because of the liberties and freedoms of its citizens. These liberties and freedoms are not created and protected by pieces of paper signed in Washington, or executive orders given out from the White House. They are protected by young men in women who have given their lives in the line of battle. These liberties and freedoms are protected at Lexington & Concord, Gettysburg, The Western Front, Normandy and Iwo Jima, The Middle East, and by names on head stones at Arlington National Cemetery and military cemeteries all over the country. God Bless all the men and women who have given their lives for this country. God Bless the United States of America. 5
Major Grigg Posted May 30, 2017 Author Posted May 30, 2017 Notice I didn't give him much credit in making our country great. 1
philknox Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 I would keep the politics out of this. I am not a big Trump fan, but I liked Obama even less, but my opinion is irrelevant to Memorial Day. 2
