Hire AI to Deliver

I would like to see a way to hire AI trader ships to deliver resources from one outpost to another, as having to sail between Manzanilla and Kingston/Port Royal to deliver coal to craft is a royal pain. Would be really nice to be able to do that

Maybe you can find someone in your nation that doesn't mind the sail and pay them to do it?

That is what I am stuck doing but I would rather not be forced to rely on players being able to do so, as they wont always be willing, and the willing ones aren't always online.
