I dont understand.

The server downtime on the EU server has been moved to midday EU time. so, 12.00 to 1.30ish every day.

Why? the old time was fine for EU players, the only people it was bad for was some non-EU timezones.

But the second the non-EU timezones are given their own dedicated server, the EU specific one finally changes, the wrong way.

Why cant the downtime be overnight? or early morning? when there is no one on the server.

There are over 400 players on the EU server right now and its about to be shut down, this really makes no sense to me.

Anyone know why?

because it is not possible to do maintenance separately. Also it give us some room to do fixes in the morning before deploying patches.

It's prob the best time for them that all servers have the lowest player base and like Admin said it gives them time to do things before they put patches into the game.  Remember we aren't a final release, this game is in development and they need to make changes as needed.  Maybe when it goes to release it will get moved to a different time, which might be back to the mid night/early morning one for majority of the players.  No matter what time they pick some one is going to be left out.  Not to mention mid day shouldn't most EU be at work?  Just like most of us In US are either still asleep or heading off to work right now.

But think.. on which server are more player? .. its a bad time . .. especially at week ends.. there was the time before better.. 9.00 o clock EU time

It's not all about European players. Think about others too.  And a little lunch break is fine with me.
