What it means with the Bar when i Command a Brigade ....

Sorry about my bad English :-)

But can someone help me ? I hope you know what i mean:

When i go with the right Mouse on a Brigade and i command to another Place and i holde the Mouse Button i can Change the Bar. There is one Bar and when i wait Comes two Bars for the Units to take the Position. What does it mean ?  Is it March and Line Position oder Double Line ???

The second bar just indicates the direction the brigade will face.  Think of it like a wide arrow head.  Always saw it like that, never thought of it as anything else.

I haven't figured out what this does either. Nothing as far as I can tell.

I do not know what it means, but historically what it should represent is the main infantry line with the skirmishers spread out in small bunches in front.  In the game, of course, skirmishers are able to be detached and go off on independent missions.
