Devs: Captured NPC ships will be mostly useless and will not be a source of income (through ship or cannon sales).

Dear Devs,

I understand that you are trying to balance things out, but I am afraid you might go too far with this one. Reducing captured ship cost is fine, reducing cannon sale price is fine, but you forgot to fill the gap and add something that would still make it popular to capture ships and this includes PvE crowd.

Let me give you few suggestions that I think will work great and still make NPC capture fun and popular. Not because you want to get rich doing so, but morel like an interesting search tool for rare drops and other items.

Add the ability to search 'ship hold'. It's a lottery type system that will randomly spawn items. When Player captures an NPC, it's sale cost should be reduced significantly, but rare materials, maps, missions and repair planks and mast repairs should be added to every NPC ship. You can't just remove everything, you will not only make NPCs 'useless' (no longer needed in the game, but also you will keep making Naval Action a very flat game for our gaming community out there.

Player can spend a tiny amount of earned XP and sweep the hold. Add a little sink for earned XP in exchange for drops.

So, add drops please! These should include:

-Materials/Goods (Cargo that was in the Hold)

-Missions (We capture ship full of people, don't tell me not a single soul can't provide me with an Adventure)

-Treasure maps (Found inside ship hold)

-New Repair Materials (Planks/Mast repairs)

-If you would introduce consumable Ammo long time ago , you would be able to add ammo crates that were found inside ship's hold. That is another story.

So, please add more Depth to Naval Action and link NPC capture to fun activities. This will only bring you players and will keep them playing.

P.S. I've also found a major Graphics Improvement for Naval Action that I think you forgot to add. It's about skies and sun on clouds that should be reflected on water surface. Once I will take few screenshots I will make a new Thread about it. I will be comparing Naval Action and other game that is using it effectively. Stay tuned.

Thanks.
