Is there a limit on how long you can stay in an instance after a fight?

I want to take some nice screenshots, and the ships look their prettiest in the combat instances. So I figure I'd pick up a midshipman mission, squash the opposing cutter, and then pose my ships to my heart's content. Question is, how long do I have before the game kicks me out int  OW?

I hope there is a timer otherwise we have the same as the end of battle screen scenario all over again.

From the start of instance 1.60 hours i believe if there is one enemy present
game kicks you out to BRS once battle is ever.

Does the game kick you out at all? I've not really tried it but I've always had to press Esc to get to the exit screen.

I've used finished battle instances extensively to do the speed tests. I've never actually timed it, but I think you have something like 15 to 30 minutes of time in the instance to yourself after the last enemy is gone, then the game kicks you abruptly out.

No visible timer.
