Hardcase726 Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Who had a hard time killing this thing as the Union? This is the Ultimate Nemesis buhahaha! lol #DryLandMerrimac
Sir Texas Sir Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 The first time I was surprised how fast I took it out. The last time I won't repeat how bad that battle went and it was on low setting with the new battle limit thing on and lets just say I turned that game off and went to play something else before the battle was over lol
william1993 Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 what the hell is this? which battle did it come from?
A. P. Hill Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 (edited) This is a rail mounted siege cannon that fired 8 to 10 inch rounds depending on the gun mounted. In early 1862 General Magruder had one in front of Richmond during McClellan's drive at seven pines / fair oaks. During Petersburg siege Grant mounted a 15 inch mortar on a rail car. I am unfamiliar with mounted gun use in any other battle including Phillipi. (sp) But it was a thing once or twice. Edited April 5, 2017 by A. P. Hill
Andre Bolkonsky Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 My avatar is Frederick Lander riding down that steep hillside in Phillipi. He's an old family friend from the railroad days; my grandfather was named for him and my nephew still bears his name. . He was at Phillipi, the armored train wasn't. And I hate having to kill 'Neo-Nemesis' every time I play Phillipi. Which means its a great game challenge; it's fun. 1
william1993 Posted April 5, 2017 Posted April 5, 2017 Is this one of the new battles? I must have missed it
