It's not about patience, it's about time. It's about time to launch. If the window of time in between wipe announcement and wipe is there to act as a grace period for players to "get their affairs in order" that makes sense. But obviously everyone already has. Now the game is shut down until April 19. It just doesn't make sense to wait when it appears everyone is ready now....I mean I can't see a problem with an announcement that says as much and move the date closer. I can wait, I guess I have to. Looks like Rear Admiral will be coming sooner than expected as PVE fleet missions are the order of the day. Even Liquicity's daily brawls won't be happening if numbers keep going down:(

im not meaning to sound bitchy, just saying it's time, but as I do love this game, as long as there is a place to log on the their will always be at least one (me) on every single day ?

You have a number of players on the test server actually helping to debug the game...  If you want to ensure the game is as bug free as possible, spend time over there....  it may also help avoid delays in the wipe and launch

Considering the complete asset wipe, we should be having huge OW battles, especially with fireships blowing up everywhere. Or did I miss these events already? heh

44 When I was pottering around in my Trincy

Sure. I sold / destroyed / gifted all mats ships.

Too much time being wasted on this title NA.

As many may think like me (not another wipe), they won´t start again and wait for final release.

I don´t want to be part of the "left over"-faction.

And that´s what NA is atm.

I learned a lesson "never buy an early access title".

Too many escuses come along with it...but one the other hand.

I met many nice people, the brain drain had been massive at this title since the start.

44 players worldwide, can you believe it?

I suppose, you get 44 at ANY game, however bad it is, worldwide.

Time to move on...I do enjoy the "letter to the king", though.

So, keep it up please. No forums, no NA, but I would miss the letter to the king...actually you get all the information

one needs to keep up to date in a reasonable time...thx for that.

Cheers

W.

This is the same thing that happend back when they did the last big patch.  They said they where going to release it next week and it took a month and most folks just stopped playing.   They really should release a small patch with the current testbed stuff.  I mean why shouldn't they do so to give us some new stuff.  Like get use to the new ship structure stuff it hey plan to put it in.  Let us pirates kill each other.  Hell even the Admiralty shop stuff could be better tested if gone live.  Just not enough folks on testbed either to test stuff.

I'm not a big gamer and I don't understand a lot of technical things in gaming  or programming,  but not knowing what I'm talking about never stopped me from commenting on anything before LOL

But to me a test bed server is redundant as we are in the testing phase of this game now in early release so we have a test bed within a test bed.  Also anyone who's ever played Minecraft or other likewise sandbox style games knows that these games constantly upgrading update and they are in post release.

So why not A) get rid of the testbed server B. implement the best changes you can and then C) release the game worldwide and tweak it as you go?

I suppose devs can push the next patch out when they are ready.  No reasons to wait.  Earlier the better.

If you have it all together already, just wipe and patch.

Found no one wanting to actually fight. More specifically, no one was in the OW :(

Loosing ships is not of concern to most anymore, but sinking/capturing worthless ships is not much of a motivation either.

Looking forward to patch release, but please no rush.

If they had it ready they could push the stuff on testbed right now out, but by a few comments I got a feeling they don't have it all ready or we would of seen a testbed by now (it's been almost two weeks since first announcement and suppose we have to wait two more weeks.  I was right we are going to prob not see any patch by end 6-8 weeks from that announcement that stated 2-4 weeks.  Which means prob late April as I bet they won't make the 19-20 deadline.  Hell they haven't even figured out where they are going to put the Global server yet and I'll tell you if they put it in EU they are going to loose even more players.

Yah it's been very dead, we are still getting some fights on the OP when we catch guys grinding these ports back up, but we have lost most our numbers as folks go do /OTHER THINGS/ until the patch comes.  That and the US/Brits now attacking a bit early when most of us aren't home from work yet doesn't help.  We figure let them have it all back to make them happy and we will just have fun when the patch comes.  Same thing we did back during the last big patch....and it was suppose to come out in a week but took over a month and the server was so dead by that time.

Well, you have to wonder if making ships cheaper and more accessible has any real effect on encouraging PvP if, like now, PvP activity plummets even when losses are virtually nil and stockpiles of goods are there to be used up.

weather is to nice to sit inside all day.

ours was yesterday, but nastie as hell today.  So I'm going to do some play testing on the testbed in the current patch form and some feed back.  Really wish the up date the testbed soon so we got something to do for the next couple of weeks.

They should break all alliances until the merger so every one can fight every one up till that point. Just like they did that 5 min window close thing for OW battles to get more folks fighting before the wipe.

Hence why myself and my clan and everyone i knew and know quit. The need to be in the OW was removed by the dev team ( thanks again for that) unless your scurring a cutter at lighting spees bonus to set up the new port to teleport to.

Wish potbs was still going. At this point its acually better and more of a challenge.

Crossing fingers for NA 2 released by a big company.
