Iñigo Montoya Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 each time a new battle is launched i need to go back to the settings and click on x2 AA to get it applied again. - Trying to force the anti aliasing via the GPU control center doesn't work. - Trying to force those various AA settings via Nvidia Inspector was also a failure, EXCEPT forcing FXAA. To summarize: There is apparently no way to keep anti aliasing setting in game, it resets after each battle and needs to be re-applied at the start of each new battle, and there is no way to force Anti Aliasing via the GPU control center or third part tools. Expected: GFX settings remaining from one battle to another with no need to re-apply the anti-alisasing settings at the start of each new battle. Thanks. Instead of creating a new problem I edited a previous one with my conclusions on Nvidia card and software. Also, more AA options and graphics in general would be great.
admin Posted February 20, 2015 Author Posted February 20, 2015 upgraded and improved settings for graphics and controls set up will come in the future - we promise. 1
Bart Smith Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 During PvE battle got disconection and get message error like that: After i cant quick relog and back to the same battle. After restart whole game everything was ok.
BungeeLemming Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 when you have this happening, immediately hit the "crashsender.exe" in your gamefolder. Dont relog bevore you sent the report since the infromation will propably be lost.
Bart Smith Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Roger that:) try remember next time...hope not gonna happen anymore:)
The Flying Dutchman Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) Ahoy! I have just recently bought Naval Action, and installed it. When I start the game, this happens (see image). I am not a computer genius, so could someone please help? I think it's a problem with my computer and not Naval Action, even though its in alpha test. Many thanks, The Flying Dutchman Edited March 12, 2015 by The Flying Dutchman
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Unfortunately, I can't view the image (oddly enough, I don't have permission). Could you host it somewhere else, such as Imgur or PhotoBucket and repost it?
The Flying Dutchman Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Oh, that's because I have my gallery on private...I'll change that right away. Also, I can't use the URL image thing for some reason, so that's annoying (it works on other forums).
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Funky. Ok, I hate to be the bearer of bad news. But unless your video card drivers are extremely out of date, you don't have a Video Card that supports Direct X 11. In order to play, you'll need to upgrade to a newer card.
The Flying Dutchman Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) I bought my laptop computer around about 4 years ago. It had (and still has) Windows 7 installed. No idea if I can change the card on this (probably not as its a laptop), but is there a way of checking what I have and what I need? Edited March 12, 2015 by The Flying Dutchman
Kala4 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 you have to check if your video card supports Shader Model 5.0 (or is full compatible with DirectX 11)
SuperEtendard Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Today I tried to start the game but this message pops up and I can't log in: Any clues?
Prater Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Try restarting steam, if that doesn't work, restart your computer. 1
SuperEtendard Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Try restarting steam, if that doesn't work, restart your computer. Restarting steam fixed it, thanks ^^
killermadilla Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Unable to load mono library from "E:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Naval Action/Client_Data/Mono/mono.dll" (error = 126). I have the above message when trying to launch game from steam. Please help.
BungeeLemming Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 try to reinstall.. That looks like an installation or download gone wrong. If you still encounter this issue after an reinstall write here again.
Yankee jack Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 A funky bug? I have finally made enough points to get the Santi, but when I click on it it says "Yacht: damage 288/10000". it has done this for the last 3 tries even after I get more points? Is there a fix? Are Santis locked out? thx
Kala4 Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Well, it says that you need to play on yacht & make 10k of damage on it to play Santi.
Yankee jack Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Well, it says that you need to play on yacht & make 10k of damage on it to play Santi. Interesting. So, a Santi is now a Victory plus 180K plus 10K in a yacht? Is that to "humble" us back to our roots....... Ha! OK, I'll give it a try. thx
Henry d'Esterre Darby Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Interesting. So, a Santi is now a Victory plus 180K plus 10K in a yacht? Is that to "humble" us back to our roots....... Ha! OK, I'll give it a try. thx They added that requirement with the Santi to ensure testers generated adequate damage on the Yacht. Up until that point, the Yacht was not involved in advancement in any way, so they hadn't yet gathered enough data to analyze for balance.
jlan5031 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 I experienced the problem referred to earlier. I was sunk and was unable to exit the playing screen until the battle ended. Any ideas?
Tuefelhunden0311 Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 ok, so i received a small update for NA today, when i tried to log in with my Steam account; it told me there was an authentication error. so i restarted my computer and Steam itself updated, now when i attempt to log in; it just sits there attempting to log in.
