One character per server instead of one character across all servers?

Hi there,

It was explained that as people didn't want spying, multiple characters were done away with some time ago and replaced with a policy of one character across all servers.  As some people might enjoy playing as characters from different nations, perhaps it would make sense to change the policy to one character per server (so someone could be an American on the US PvP server and a Briton on the European one)?  This would prevent spying while also allowing greater flexibility.

Thats how it is already. The only thing all your characters across all servers share are the level, the crafting level and the labour hours.

You can already have 1 character per server.  It's tied to your Steam account.  1 Steam account, 1 character times 3 servers.  But only 1 per server per Steam account.  But with that, if you have multiple Steam accounts you can have multiple characters, 1 per account.

That is what we have now. Each Steam account may have 1 character per server.

Given we have 3 servers we may have 3 characters.

In order for you to understand this better, why not try creating your second (and third if you like) character on another server, and then play it.  You will see that you can indeed create the additional character(s) on the other server(s).  But because certain things are tied to your steam account, you will share your crafting hours.  However, they are independent.  It works already the exact thing you are asking for.
