When playing the Historical and Custom missions on the Brigadier General level, are the units and manpower numbers of the armies historically correct? I know the Colonel level is -25% and the Major General is +25% troop numbers but just curious if these actual numbers are based off of the real numbers present at each battle.

thanks,

No. All numbers and force pools have been altered for game purposes.

For example, at the 'Train Station' at Phillipi, there are about 3,000 Yankees and 800 Confederates in the real battle. Substantially more by the end of the Confderate counter-attack in the game. Not to mention the Armored Train.

If you talking about the Historical Battle Maps n Not Campaign,,, there Numbers/Units are historical for the most Part>The weapons are unified within brigades for balance. As CSA had different weapons in the early war in there Brigades from Smoothbore to Springfield's n everything in between.

Campaign is ahistorical, except for places like Andre said,,,,

Custom Battles are just that Custom,, move units , add Units........

Thanks for the info. I was curious when playing the Historical Batlles if the units and numbers were actual accurate to the real battles that took place. I felt they might be but wasn't 100% sure.
