My advise spend some time in PVE to learn the basics

the devs will post basic controll interface

the current one is in * Testing UI explained * and open to only testers atm

i believe some testers are working on some basic tutorials (dont quote i have been known to be wrong)

Join Steam; you may or may not get to keep your same name or some thing close i was able to keep

ChillyWilly by this "Chilly_Willy" as there are some in forums with different names on steam. Join Naval Action MP. The English speaking group. There is also a Russian speaking group

if you have questions and im on steam do not hesitate to ask me

Start to consider, Joining a Society, Clan or what ever they are going to call them ingame

its been stated that the mechanics for them are not yet implemented yet but will be in the future

there are several supporting several nations at the moment following link list some and affilations

however there are some more newly started ones check the Tavern threads for them

I read that the steam key for access to the Sea Trials will be sent to the email address that is linked to the paypal account that was used to preorder the game. I'm in the same boat as you. My forum account is linked to a different email address than what my paypal account is linked to, and I haven't read anywhere that it will be an issue.
