Sykes Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 Already at the battle of Antietam. Some big name Generals were killed in the fight including; Hancock & McDowell (both Major Generals). Losing them was a tough pill to swallow. Name a few Generals that you've lost already that you miss having in your OOB.
Wright29 Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 Jackson seems to be a bullet magnet. I haven't had a CSA campaign where he hasn't been WIA or KIA. 1
Springfield Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 I moved my avatar to a division commander spot when I received Johnston after Shiloh. Seeing him killed at Antietam was a bit painful. 1
Hitorishizuka Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 My Avatar gets WIA out of the Division Commander slot all the time ever since I started using Combine Division a lot more.
Col_Kelly Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 J. H. Kelly gets shot all the time, a true irishman. I actually read somewhere that Ewell got shot IRL right after he got back into action (before Gettysburg), but since it was his amputated leg that got shot he didn't feel anything XD. Might be fun to have a reduced chance of getting wounded if a general has already been wounded before.
vren55 Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 I put Ulysses S. Grant in my division commander spot because I wanted him to level up faster. Got killed in one of my replays at the Siege of Suffolk. So I redid it and Chancelloresville. He's Lt. General now 1
dsfgsdfgsdfgdsfgsdf3q4 Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Stonewall Jackson, in a minor battle he was a division commander and he was the only officer to be killed in a battle where i lost less than 5k soldiers.
Slobodan Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Lost A.P.Hill at Chancellorsville , he was leading his division in final push to take farm (3rd day). 1

I redid suffolk to get Grant back. This was partially practical though b/c he was literally a sliver away from Lt. General and I wanted at least 3 lt. generals before heading into Gettysburg.
