Taranis Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 (edited) Last night, I was merrily moving assets around between ports (on pvp1 with a server population of about 90) when, lo did I see upon the horizon a scallywag American flag flying Trincomalee, west of Camp Du Roy sailing west by south west! Thus, I called to arms throwing my Endymion and supporting fleet in pursuit. Yet, after a couple of minutes of chasing this prey, as I was unavoidably bearing down upon him, did he vanish into thin air from the OW, off to the south of Terre de Bas. There was no fog, his sails were deployed and he did not enter a neutral port. I had to have the lookout flogged of course, for good measure. Is this a new trick that the Americans have developed, or is it the result of some desync? If the latter, why would the ship not have remained in the OW with sails raised? Ink Posted January 24, 2017 Posted January 24, 2017 This might be a rare case of how OW optimization works, have you followed the course?
