Ned Loe Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 (edited) Ships vibrating while using spyglass. Is it me or others get the same? When I zoom in closer on NPC/Player ship that is moving, it's shaking violently to the point that it hurts my eyes. Edited January 20, 2017 by Ned Loe 2
SirSamuelHood Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 It gets cold out there on the open ocean. They're just shivering to keep warm.
Chustler Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Ya it has been like that for a long time. One of those little things that would be nice to see fixed in time.
Sir Texas Sir Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 never notice this, wonder if this something that might be related on your computer end or even the ping? Than again I don't keep myself in the spyglass for long. Mark my target and than set coarse

Angus McGregor Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 2 hours ago, Amonacc said: Yes I got same issueand reported it but screenshot doesn't show that Don't think it's network lag - my ping is 130 to 160 and my close ups of other ships through the spyglass are rock steady. So maybe it is hardware related... one make/model's video card drivers or possibly SLI support? You guys should compare notes.
Ned Loe Posted January 23, 2017 Author Posted January 23, 2017 (edited) I am glad my word 'vibrating' found so many educated supporters in this topic and helped it remain on top of other issues that still remain. Nevertheless this should be fixed whenever it is aproppriate. If you need ideas on how it can be done please feel free to PM me anytime. -Ned Loe Edited January 23, 2017 by Ned Loe
Hethwill, the Red Duke Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 I find it odd that I never came across the graphical issue mentioned. I interpret it as being the image on the spyglass to vibrate spastically. Is there any recording that shows it ?

I will try to get the video asap. Btw my ping is fine with 60 FPS on OS. Edited January 23, 2017 by Ned Loe
Hethwill, the Red Duke Posted January 23, 2017 Posted January 23, 2017 You mean when both models are really close to each other and we zoom the cam a lot ?
Hethwill, the Red Duke Posted January 31, 2017 Posted January 31, 2017 OW, ships far away, full zoom in on spyglass and yeah they vibrate a lot. Gotcha. Did verify the same issue. 2
