Bring back Chest Event

Those events really spiked interest in the game on the weekends and got the server filled with people trying to go for the chests. Many people complained about them but if they did them throughout the weekend it would create great pvp and something to do.

Yah if you want paints and ships you just need to do PvE/PvP events and port battles.   That are just sit out side port battles and wait for folks to leave.  We caught a good number of them this way.

 

As for the events.  They should of made those more like this.   A fleet (EPIC fleet size)  that has treasure ships in it.  You have to capture the Indianmans with there treasures while they are being escorted by a fleet of ships.  Either make the prize the actual cargo so you have to get out with the ship instead of sinking it or do say a point system of you prize after seeking a goal in the mission.   So that way it's not just the guy that captures the trader ships that get the prize and you need to make it so you can't just rush in and rage board  and than leave.  It needs to be a total victory/point system goal to win the event.   Yes this would be a PvE event, but hay I'm sure some folks would love that.

A breadcrumbs type of event can be an idea.

That being said the 2017 roadmap clearly states the Admiralty as being a venue towards rewards.

No, because some of us aren't online at the times such rewards are being given out. Across the two servers I have three dozen ships, and only a single paint scheme (and ironically for a ship I don't have).

You have all day to get the PvE event done.  While way harder on PvP1 than to do on say PvE and PvP2 but it can be done so being online during other times is  no excuse and there are 4 PvP events now.  Not to mention you can get the same stuff by being at any port battle and winning.  I hear PvP2 could use some more players in the small nations if you can't get into the port battles on PvP1 or play during off times than you should come over and help the small guys on PvP2 out.  It's not like we keep any of this stuff at the end any way.
