Andre Bolkonsky Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) Nick, Your 'Camp' is a historian's and a modder's dream. It's beautiful. The level of detail you give to each specific unit regarding leaders, weapons, veterancy, is impressive.Building custom OOB's maximized for specific game scenarios is my very favorite part of this game. But you have a stone in your shoe. I just spent half an hour rebuilding my OOB after Shiloh, calculating out rifles and upgrading units, reinforcing and building new brigades, calculating out resources for Vets vs Recruits, getting my best cannon with the best gun crews, swapping leaders around, etc. And then . . . . I made a small mistake. My best cavalry unit, the Seventh Cav, was accidently reinforced to 750, and just rendered useless the 625 or so Cavalry Colt M1855 I purchased specifically for them. To correct that mistake, I have to wipe the entire build and reload the save. Sure, I can blame myself for not saving earlier; but it's needless irritation in an otherwise elegant design. May I make a suggestion? Units enter camp. Any unit that is changed for any reason has an 'X' . If the player clicks the 'X', the brigade resumes the exact status it had when camp began. All changes are provisional until something like an 'Approve OOB' command is given; and the OOB must be approved before a game save or proceeding to the battle screen. This can't be that hard to implement for someone as good as this as you and your crew. BTW, great game, much respect. Edited January 10, 2017 by Andre Bolkonsky 5
GeneralPITA Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 +1 to an "undo" button for the barracks. I save often while rebuilding my forces for this reason. 1
Commander_Rahl Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 Yes please! Undo button for camp would be very nice for those of us with fat fingers. 1
