Ligatorswe Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 One thing that usually happened to ships with more than one main cannondecks is that the lowest deck was situated so close to the sea that they could not shoot with it when there was to heavy sea. OR that they could try to use the lowest situated cannons and thereby risking the ship.this would be interesting to imitate in the game. 1
BungeeLemming Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 When we heel too much the cannons of any give ship can be disabled by heavy seas. Also when we sink the gundecks at sealevel get disabled as well. Its implemented right now.
Chilly Willy Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 I think it was mentioned or at least talked about having the ability to close the gunports also
maturin Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 While the ships' physics models in high seas are very pretty, they seem to be excessively buoyant. Because despite waves that would preclude all gunnery in real life, even HMS Victory never seems to pitch or roll her lower ports under.
