Include Guyana region in the game map and Portugal

Make the map include the Guyana region, (around northern Brazil), where there is a portuguese colony, a british colony, a dutch colony and a french colony, which are today a region of the brazilian state of Amapá, the sovereign republic of Guyana, the sovereign Republic of Suriname and the french overseas department of the French Guyana respectively and make Portugal a faction in the game. An Age of Sail really needs Portugal. More than a lot of other nations you put in there.

As much as I love this idea the player base couldn't support another nation right now and honestly it's a bit late into development to be adding onto an already huge map and to add another faction.

I have to agree on the point that Portugal contributed immensely to the Age of Sail. Especially to the Age of Exploration. I would love to see them added to the game simply on a case of merit. I also understand the comment made by Aventador above. Maybe a consideration the Devs may make in the future?

Exactly. Top of the list for potential nations to be added in the first post-release additional content release.
