van der Clam Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Maybe I do not understand how officers work, but after my officer reached rank 10 and after last weeks patch, my officer is no longer gaining points to be able to switch around the perks. Does this mean I need to kill the officer and start all over again?
Angus McGregor Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 You can redo the perks any way you like by right-clicking his name and selecting 'Reset'. The perks he has will be cleared and you'll get all the promotion points back (at present)
van der Clam Posted December 10, 2016 Author Posted December 10, 2016 But that's just it, I'm not getting any points back. I've changed the perks around 3 different times and now my points are at 0 (zero) and it's not letting me add any perks, saying I'm out of points.
Angus McGregor Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 That's strange! TBH can't remember exactly when I last reset them. Maybe a bug in one of the latest 9.97 hotfixes?
Sir Texas Sir Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Did you F11 it? Might try logging out and back in. Seems I think there was like a bug for some one else that this happend to also, but I have sleep many a moons since than I'm sure so my memory isn't that great.
van der Clam Posted December 10, 2016 Author Posted December 10, 2016 It's been going on since the event patch and I've relogged, shut down, made certain of updates, etc. Just figured I'd post here to know if it needs to be F11ed.
Pada Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 (edited) So what you're saying is you have a max rank officer but less than 10 points to spend? Edited December 10, 2016 by Pada 1

And there is the aahhhh moment. I just reset it and it's working fine now. Please delete this post for me being a motardiot. 1
Pada Posted December 10, 2016 Posted December 10, 2016 Glad to hear your officer is still rocking the quarterdeck. 1
