Agamemnon - Very Rare?

I heard that the Agamemnon is an... very very rare ship... almost no chance of getting it... Why is this? I was planning to get the recources for the agamemnon.. and then i heard that i needed first a blueprint from a special event... why is this ship so rare... :C i love the look of this ship.. and now it will take sooo long to get it.

I cannot speak for the PvE and PvP 2 servers. 

However, on PvP 1 the ship is really not that hard to get. 
British and Danish got the Agamemnon BP from the Special events before they were removed for rework. 
US clan WO and Swedish clan OCEAN got 4x Agamemnon BP from the 3v3 PvP tournament. 
While i do not know what WO did with their Blueprints i know that we in OCEAN used 1 BP ourselves, gave 1 BP to Sveno (HRE), sold 1 BP to French and the last 1 to Spanish.

So, find one of the crafters, throw him a PM and i'm sure you can get your ship! Just remember to have Materials and 2x Labor Contracts ready, maybe 1 extra labor contract as payment or some extra fine logs! 

If you are on PvP 2 or PvE i suggest doing the same

If you dutch nation, i have an offer running of crafting anyone a agamemnon in coro if they bring mats+2 labour contracts, coro probably isnt the best place to crafting since it only gives hull bonus, but il admit im too lazy for any where else. So yeah, if any PVP1 dutch nation guys read this, just send me a pm here or in game(preferably here on the forums as i check those more often than in game)

Yes, on PVP2, Agamemnon is very rare, at least in the US nation. We have one guy with the blueprint, however he is only on once in a while. I have one Agamemnon*, but I rarely use her for two reasons: 1. I cannot easily replace her if lost (this didn't bother me when I was confident I would not lose her, unless on my terms), 2. She is too slow after the horrible speed nerf (at least my oak build strength speed with exceptional copper plating is) to keep up with Constitution.

I really hope the devs make the blueprint available to anyone through the crafting tree. They could make it drop at level 50 crafting and take quite a few hours and resources to build (as much as a first rate), that would make it a little more rare than Constitution and Ingermanland. Also she needs her speed back. That nerf they gave her was horrible, she is too slow to outrun anything other than a large lineship. If she was the same speed as the Constitution again, that would be nice, then you would have a choice to make for a fourth rate: a fast but slow turning tank with a smaller broadside, or a fast, powerful frigate with a good profile and less armor (carronades on the Constitution are beastly up close).

In short, PVP2 needs more Agamemnon blueprints! I'll volunteer to take one off the Developer's hands for the US nation on PVP2 if they want to give one out (I am active every day for several hours so I'll always be available to build your ship)!

I've got the BP on pvp2 but as previously stated the speed nerf killed it as an OW 4th rate.

I wonder if they will give her speed back to her? I would like to know why they nerfed it in the first place...it seemed just right before the nerf. Maybe someone can shed some light on that.

Was going to say BLACK has two members with it.  Other than that I'm not even sure who else has it.  I think the Dane's has one or two folks with it, but other than that no clue.  Maybe one Brit player as I have seen a few with them.   I would have to log in and see the name of the one I captured from a brit player to be sure.

 

They really need to just let the H. Rattler, Ag and L. Ocean be gather by more than a few players.  That and some of the folks with the BP's have logged on in months.  Which makes it even harder to get some of these ships made.

 

I'll be honest the speed nerf made it pretty much made it not really worth running any more. It all ready had bad wind directions compared to the Connie and Ingerland and than they took it's speed down it lost the one nice thing about being able to run other ships down on good wind.

I shall have to find the British player who has the Agamemnon blueprint and have him build me a couple. I can provide mats and plenty of contracts, but it will take me a couple weeks to get the fine woods for my desired builds. Thanks for the info. I really hope the devs give her speed back and make the blueprint more easily available, she was a nice ship pre-nerf.

Lothar is who built the one I captured from a brit player.  I haven't seen him around in a while.  Than again I only been popping in to run econ myself the last few weeks and that is it.

Thanks, I mailed him via in game chat. I hope to have a couple built soon. I'd like to try two different builds on it, maybe see if I can't come up with something fast, without being too weak.

I have an exceptional on PVP2 that I got the drop from the event where we got the notes from fishing.  It told of a fleet to intercept, throughout the week you got other notes to give hints.  When I finally found the location, there was a chest with random stuff and the 1 time use blueprint.  I had a friend of mine craft it for me, and have loved this ship every since.  Even though I have way more crew than it needs (may end up selling it soon) I always enjoy sailing it.

If you are talking about the treasure fleet events that happend a few months back.  Those weren't one time blueprints.  He can make as many as he wants now  that he knows the blue print.  Unless this is some new event I haven't heard of than.

I looked at the Memnon I had cap'd from a Brit or American and it was crafted by Vortas. So that should be another.
