Faction specific paints

When in battle, and when you're sailing, the identity of friend or foe can sometimes be blurred. Having Santismas that are spanish looking, while the player is part of the US faction causes some separation between standardization and uniform.

 

My suggestion here is to have faction specific paint schemes. Having all of the US Ships whether its an LGV, Santisma or a Constitution, have that Navy blue/white scheme. Maybe replacing symbols on the ships too, so the 3 fleur de lis on the back of the LGV changed to the Eagle and US Shield would be something that I feel many players would like. Personally, one of the best things about this age is the uniformity of the militaries, and how you can associate a color with a nation. Not only would it save from friendly fire but also enact a sense of pride for certain nations, looking towards symbols and colors with pride of their faction.

The colors of these ships is something I'll look more into so it's historically accurate, if any of you guys can help, please do.
