"Drawing" Movement Paths

What happened to the wonderful system that UGG had where you could "draw" you movement paths on the map?  This was one of the coolest features that I enjoyed about UGG that made it stand above the rest of the RTS crowd.  I hate to say it but with the current system (the standard "point and click") that has been introduced into UG:CW feels like a step backwards.

You can drag a path by holding down the left mouse button or click with the right mouse button to set a position - holding down the right mouse button sets the facing direction. You can also set the formation of a whole line by selection the units and drawing out the line with the right mouse button
