crashing UG Civil war not launching

I cant get Ultimate General Civil War to launch. the game opens for a split second and then hard crashes back to desktop without an error message. I tried launching game in windowed mode, reinstalling, and verifying game crash but it still isnt working. I run windows 10 and my specs are well over what it required, any help with this is much appreciated.

this problem is fixed now, i reinstalled the game for a 4th time and restarted steam and it was working all of a sudden. ill update if it happens again, not sure what fixed it.
